1957年、静岡県浜松市生まれ。慶応義塾大学文学部仏文科卒。1990年、『楽園』が日本ファンタジーノベル大賞優秀賞を受賞して作家デビュー。『リング』『らせん』『ループ』『バースディ』のシリーズが計800万部のベストセラーとなり、ハリウッドで映画化される。著作は世界20ヵ国語に翻訳され、欧米を中心に積極的に講演活動を行う。

Kohji Suzuki
He was born in 1957 in Hamamatsu city, Shizuoka, Japan, and graduated with a major in French literature from Keio University, Tokyo. In 1990, Suzuki received the "Japan Fantasy Novel Prize" for his debut novel, "Paradise". His bestselling series ? "Ring" , "Spiral" , "Loop" and "Birthday"? sold more than 8 million copies, and were made into Hollywood movies. Suzuki has given lectures across much of the western world, and his novels have been translated into 20 languages.
